Businesses looking to launch digital banking products faced two painful options build everything from scratch or navigate fragmented, outdated financial infrastructure. There was no single, modern, end-to-end platform that was fast to deploy, fully licensed, and infinitely customisable. Finto was designed to fill that gap.
Business Problem
The competitive landscape was dominated by legacy banking infrastructure slow, expensive, and inaccessible to newer businesses. Research revealed three core user needs: speed to market, regulatory compliance, and flexibility. These three pillars became the foundation of every design decision.
Our Approach
Design Process & Thinking
The design prioritised clarity over complexity. A light lavender and white palette was chosen to signal trust and modernity, deliberately distancing Finto from the heavy, dark aesthetics of traditional banking. The layout was structured to take the user on a journey, from understanding the vision, to exploring features, to discovering specific products - each section answering the next logical question a potential client would ask. Component modularity was built into the design system from day one, reflecting the very modularity Finto promises its clients.
Results Achieved
Finto launched with a platform trusted by multiple partners across the fintech space. The design successfully positioned them as a modern, credible alternative to legacy banking infrastructure attracting both developers and business decision-makers through a single unified experience.
